Lid rests and pot stands are designed for different purposes. A lid rest is for temporarily placing the lid of a teapot or kyusu, while a pot stand is for placing the body of a teapot or kyusu.

For placing lids, use a lid rest

For placing the body, use a pot stand

SEKIMONO's Fortune from All Directions, Daylily, and Listening to Bamboo are intended as pot stands for placing teapots or kyusu. The outer dimensions of each piece are approximately φ192 × H30 mm.
